UPH Faculty of Nursing signs partnership with OTTO Health Netherlands

In response to the global nursing supply shortage, the UPH Faculty of Nursing has signed a partnership agreement with OTTO Health, a Netherlands-based employment agency company, as part of FoN’s mission to have their graduates serve as nurses in hospitals within the Netherlands healthcare system.
The initiative is based on the concern of health administrators and policymakers in the Netherlands about a national shortage of nursing staff. Based on this need, OTTO Health has chosen to step forward and assist in recruiting nurses to meet this high demand from other parts of the world, including Indonesia.
In preparation for the program, a small number of carefully selected FoN graduates will be equipped with various capabilities, including Dutch language classes, before being flown to the Netherlands for the program. They will have the opportunity to learn new things and come back to Indonesia prepared to apply their newfound knowledge and skills to improve healthcare in Indonesia.
