UPH Undergraduate Law Study Program of Lippo Village Campus Achieves Highest Accreditation Tier

After persevering through the process of accreditation level conversion for the past half year, the Faculty of Law of Universitas Pelita Harapan has succeeded in maintaining its stellar credibility by achieving the Excellent accreditation standard of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
Certainly, the stellar achievement has not been earned in a short time. Prior to attaining this accreditation standard, the faculty has been consistently accredited as “A” over the span of two decades since 2002. To keep meeting the high standards demanded by the progressing era, FH UPH must preserve quality and prove its integrity in providing law education to the nation’s young generations. Despite undergoing the conversion process to keep up with the renewed government regulations during the previous year, they have upheld the program’s exceptional quality to obtain the Excellent accreditation level.
The preparations include ensuring that the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) is filled with up-to-date data that substantiates the excellent performance of the study program. Additionally, the faculty consistently maintains strong connections with its alumni to enrich the outcomes of tracer studies, which are highly valued by both the university and the government. Internally, the faculty actively enhances the quality of faculty members through a faculty development plan that encourages master's-level lecturers to promptly pursue doctoral degrees. Furthermore, with regards to the quality of its educational staff, FH has embarked on a roadmap to support faculty members in producing top-notch publications derived from individual research as well as collaborative projects with students.
In addition to the Law undergraduate program at Lippo Village campus, which has successfully attained the highest accreditation, the Law undergraduate program in Surabaya has also achieved a similar level of accreditation, while the Doctor of Law program was recently granted the Very Good accreditation level. Moving forward, the Faculty of Law at UPH will continue to enhance the accreditation of other programs under its wing, such as the Law undergraduate program at the Medan campus, which is currently awaiting assessment and visitation. It is hoped that the achievement of these accreditations serves as evidence that the Faculty of Law at UPH fulfills its mission of producing law graduates who fear God and possess integrity, thereby blessing the nation of Indonesia.
